A Long Christmas Vacation

Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! You got to spend your first Christmas in St. George, Utah, with mommy's family. We were there for almost a month! It was pretty cold there, we all got colds and coughs. You got your first ear infection! It allowed us to stay an extra week though, so we didn't mind. We had this pretty tree in our room, and you loved it.
You turned 4 Months Old on Christmas Eve. You are at SUCH a fun age! You love your toes and you love to put EVERYTHING in your mouth.

You also try to eat everything that we eat, so we let you try out rice cereal. It made you constipated, so we are going to wait a little longer.
You got a LOT of attention. Your cousins couldn't get enough of you. Caden and Halle LOVED you, and wanted to hold you almost every second.

Damon and Allie were also very sweet and adoring. Allie liked to come up to you and smile huge on her face and say Ka-LEE-UH! Damon loved to hold you, carry you, and kiss your head.
You also got to meet your cousin Kyla, who is exactly three months older than you. She's a tad chunkier than you are, and it looks like she's squishing you in this picture. It made us all laugh.
Christmas Eve was fun. The Pajama Elf brought us all new pajamas. These are yours, Kyla also had matching ones.
You spent most of the month trying to figure out how to crawl. It was really exciting, but now we know we'll barely be able to keep up with you.

Other fun things we did in December: We put your hair in little pigtails again.
We went and visited Genis and Jaysa (she's three days younger than you.)We played down in the park on the slide and the swings. And we let you try out horseback riding for the first time. You even tried to take the reigns.
Finally, I wanted to write down some of the things family/friends were saying about you:
"She acts like she's one year old! I think she is just so excited to finally be here, she's learning everything as fast as she can!" ---Stacey Owens
"Her volume is turned on HIGH! I wonder where she got that from!" ---Grandma Karen
"She DOES have a lot of energy. Your raising your mom!" ---Kandra Mills
"She looks just like a little doll." ---Great Uncle Larry (we hear that one a lot).
